Sandra has over forty years of experience in Child Welfare, Mental health, Clinical supervision, Training, and Cultural responsiveness.

Ms. Chase currently serves as one the Co-chairs for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network’s Culture Consortium. She is also the Chair of the NCTSN’s Race and Trauma subcommittee. She is an integral part of NCTNS‘s “Being Antiracist is Central to being Trauma informed summit Faculty. Ms. Chase has extensive experience in training and consulting with agencies on cultural responsiveness, addressing systemic inequities, racial disparities, Historical and Secondary Trauma. Ms. Chase is an Adjunct Professor in the Child Studies, Psychology Department at Antioch University in Los Angeles. Ms. Chase is also an Academic Advisor with Columbia University’s School of Social Work’s online program.
